This one I was a little surprised by! I was fully expecting a very sweet and synthetic banana note, but the richer woody, boozy, and musky notes, balance the banana out and turn it into a deep ripe gourmand banana aroma.
Very good profile, and a worthy sample for those who don’t like sweet gourmand profiles.
So… I’ll say I don’t hate this, but it doesn’t get my gears going. There’s a very shear, green apple note that’s quite pervasive in the opening. Notes of Ambroxan and boozy undertones follow, but it’s not as boozy as I had wished it was.
Worth a sample, but not my style :)
Quality decanting service as always from Cologne Cove 🤙🏻
This is a well composed fragrance with good projection and average endurance. It smells very much like fresh pipe tobacco. If you want to smell like that, then get this.
Opening has lots of banana! Sort of like banana cake, it very quickly transitions to smoky oud (smells a lot like guaiac wood to me) and the banana goes away. Eventually the banana comes back in a little later but just a fraction of how it was in the opening. Good for those who want a safe oud fragrance.
I'm not someone who typically goes for gourmands but this one is pretty good!
Freshly made warm waffles, drenched in syrup, with a bit of salted caramel, and a littlee bit of melted butter on the center?
perfect, not much notes but the notes r good for the amount of them, decent oud and made me ceeam alot it was yummy in my nose tummy
